I love writing stories for children.

My goal is to write inclusive, empowering stories that appeal to all children, but particularly to reluctant readers. I often share my stories in schools and libraries. Every time I lead a storytelling session, I learn something.
I’d like to say I have lots of hobbies, but the truth is I don’t. Life is really just a rude interruption to thinking about, reading or writing stories.
Before writing took over my life, I was an editor, copywriter and marketeer. All of which gave me lots of opportunity to work with words.
I am delighted to be working as a reading helper for Coram Beanstalk, to be a member of SCBWI and also the National Association of Writers in Education.
